BDCOM Online Ltd has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Multibrand Workshop to offer vehicle tracking and security solutions alongside automobile maintenance services.
Under the partnership, Multibrand Workshop customers will receive exclusive benefits when installing BDCOM SmartTracker, while existing SmartTracker customers will be eligible for specialised servicing facilities and discounts at Multibrand Workshop, according to a press release.
The MoU was signed on 28 September at BDCOM Online's head office in Dhaka.
S M Kamruzzaman, deputy managing director, and Ahmed Fazle Sobhani, senior manager, signed the agreement on behalf of BDCOM Online. Masud Karim Chowdhury, executive director, and Nurul Amin Rahad signed on behalf of Multibrand Workshop.
Air Vice Marshal Mohammad Nazrul Islam (Retd), managing director of BDCOM Online, and Bipul Ranjan Saha, chief marketing officer, along with senior officials from both organisations, attended the signing ceremony.
The partnership aims to provide personal and corporate vehicle owners with access to vehicle tracking, security and maintenance services through a unified service arrangement, the release said.
BDCOM Online provides GPS-based vehicle tracking services in Bangladesh, while Multibrand Workshop offers automobile servicing.
